Winter Planter Workshop

This winter come join expert gardener Chelsie Anderson for a 2 hour long, hands on, aromatherapy-intense session of building your own winter display. Chelsie will walk you through some specifics about the different branches, cones and berries available for your use, as well as the basic design principles of building your own winter planter. The best part? You get to take home your display at the end to put on your front step or driveway only to become the envy of all your neighbours!

2022 Workshop Date:

November 20th, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM MST at the Rosscarrock Community Hall

This course includes all of the materials necessary to build a unique and completely natural (except for the bow!) winter decoration that will last well into the new year. All of the branches are sourced locally and are cut fresh by Chelsie herself, meaning the "shelf life" of your creation will be very long! She will teach you how to place a variety of different branches including spruce, pine, juniper, dogwood, pine cones and berries as well as teach you how to tie your own fancy florist bow and make it all look spectacular. Come even if you aren't particularly crafty as Chelsie can help you with placement as needed... the smell alone will make you smile and feel festive. Extra branches- ie- birch branches will be available for sale (for cash) if you'd like to include something a bit extra special!
